3 years ago I began my second semester abroad in Shanghai China. Look at the girl on the far left, behind the one holding a cup. We, despite being at this party, and several other events , together, never exchanged words.

I would have never thought 3 years after this picture was taken, I would move to her tiny hometown in China and she would be one of my favorite people here.

She’s been great in introducing to internationally minded people in Deyang and they together have helped to make this experience a bit better.
